We are seeking an experienced Smallgoods Team Member to join the team at our Cambridge butchery and commercial kitchen, on a full-time basis.

As a Smallgoods Team Member you will work as part of a small team to create a range of smallgoods including hams, terrines, pates, cured, smoked and dried products as well as fresh and cooked sausages to be sold primarily in our ten Hill Street stores and under the Wursthaus brand.

You will need:

• Previous smallgoods experience (trade certificate desirable but not essential)
• A love of working with food and people.
• Energy, initiative and willingness to take direction
• The ability to follow company procedures and regulations, particularly regarding food handling and workplace health and safety.
• Extremely good attention to detail, being able to focus on the finer details, such as quality control, recipe methods and presentation of all products.
• Availability for weekday work and very occasional weekends around major seasonal events like Easter and Christmas.
• Physical fitness for lifting and standing.

Pay rates are determined by the Meat Industry Award. The full-time annual salary range is approx. $50-$55k exclusive of superannuation.
